new favorite movie

so, on friday night i watched this movie called Lucky Number Slevin, w/ josh hartnett, lucy lui, morgan freeman, bruce willis and others. i would to say this is my new favorite movie. its main character is josh hartnett who plays a very convincing undercover hitman

so yesterday, i had the best day ever. for me having a good day doesnt come too often. lately i havent had the confidence i need to get through the day. sometimes i dont even want to turn over and geet up and come to school much less go to work. but i was just glad that i had a good. and today also seems like a good day too. ^_^

news today

the news today is like a circus. its all over the place. when you turn on the tv today all you hear about is rhianna and chris brown, barack obama and the recession, how to keep your home, and all other things. sometimes, i think some people should keep their opinions to themselves. news is about telling people whats going on that is actually important, not about what ur opinion is. at the end of the day, your opinion wont matter. the facts will.

the oscars

one night where all the stars are expected to come and dress up and look purty for the cameras. i like to watch because honestly, i think some people look ridiculous and some dont. i didnt watch it but i did catch the end. i mean the oscars is for bragging rights to me. and its overrated

my birthday and why it means alot to me

today is my 18th birthday and it means more to me than anything else right now. not just because its my birthday, its because im not another statistic in rochester who got pregnant under the age of 18, who wasnt killed because of something that was stupid. im a stastic to being who i am and reaching my goals. today just signafies me making it one more year in a statistic city.

what it means to me

as you go on in life you learn new things, meet new people, and become exposed to new experiences. but growing up is one of the experiences people continue to try to get a good grasp on. a part of growin up is also to find yourself. some people do and others don't. to me growing is about makin my mom proud of my accomplishments, prove to myself that i can do it, and prove to those that it wasnt about you. the real things matter to me. not worrying about who wore what to the gammy's, who got arrested, and other unmaterialistic things. but in the end, i know what really does matter to me. and that is me.
